More women are diagnosed with breast cancers everyday. What factors affect women to get breast cancers?
The study showed that women, who had early menarche, experienced no pregnancy and are tall, have higher risk of having breast cancers.
The result of a study:
For women before the menopause, women who had menarche before 14 year old are about 4 times more likely to be getting breast cancers than those who had menarche after 16 year old.
For women after the menopause, these are no significant relation between ages of menarche and the rate of getting breast cancers were shown.
Women who have never experienced pregnancy are about 1.9 times more likely to be getting breast cancers than those who have experienced pregnancies.
The rate of getting breast cancers is proportional to numbers of pregnancies, that is, the more pregnancies women have, the less risks of getting breast cancers.
Women who had more than 5 times childbirths were about 40 % less likely to get breast cancers compared to those who had only 1 childbirth.
Women with height of more than about 5" 3' are approximately 1.5 times more likely to get breast cancers than those who are with height of less about than about 4" 9'.
