Recent reaserches have found secrets of terrifying relationship between periodontitis and human health.

Over 60 millions bacterias of more than 400 species inhabitat in a human mouth. They feed on sugar and scraps between teeth and gum pockets producing plaque. Amng them, there is a bacteria called " Spirochete" (Picture 3&4) which is one of periodotiti-causing bacterias.  A specise among periodotitis-causing bacterias, which inhabitat in plaque, is capable of entering capillary vessels on gums and is transported to various places - brain, heart, lever, kidneys, uterus etc- by circulatory system (Picture 5). When this happens, cholesterol stick on boold vessel producing blood clots which eventually lead to heart attack, stroke and so on.

Moreover, this type of bacterias also cause premature birth. Delivery-inducing substance tend to reach to a certain point before an unborn baby becomes mature and ready to be delivered. Currently, the cause s of premature birth are; #1 somoking, #2 periodontitis and #3 drinking in order.
