According to a study, middle-agers with more grasping power tend to have less chance to die of diseases.
A death rate decreases about 11% for men and 13% for woman every 5 Kg of grasping power increase.
Grasping power is representative index of muscular strength, therefore people with stronger grip are considered to have stronger muscular strength of the whole body. The amount of muscle tissues is connected to metabolism of sugars and proteins. |
