You recently haven’t had a good night sleep? Maybe you have stress and your concentration decreased? So many people suffer insomnia due to busy and crazy society these days. You feel sleepy but can’t fall asleep or wake up still tired. This is due to hormone called adrenocortrophic hormone (ACTH). This hormone suppresses sleep and tenses the body in order to protect itself from enemy. ACTH is secreted under stress and broken down during sleep. Therefore, if you are under extreme stress, the desire of sleep increases along with increased secretion of ACTH, as a result, you can not get a deep sleep. You are tired due to a lack of sleep, and stress increases which cause secretion of ACTH. Here, vicious circle begins. The solution to this is how you manage your stress and prevent excessive secretion of ACTH.

Point 1: Keep your sleeping hours, bedtime and the hour of rising.
Try to sleep and get up on weekends at the same time as weekdays. The less or the more hours of sleep causes disarrange of the rhythm of your body. One study says that irregularity of sleep times may cause depression.

Point 2: Do not eat late and go to bed full stomach.

Point 3: Avoid alcohol and caffeine before bedtime.
Many people use alcohol before go to sleep. Alcohol leads you to sleep faster however; it actually disturbs the rhythm of sleep. Your body can not get deeper sleep and wake up tired next morning in result.

Point 4: Wake up with full of sunshine.
Sleepiness is caused by a hormone called melatonin which is secreted in a dark room and stops secretion in light. Therefore, it is very good to bask in the sun every morning in order to shake off drowsiness.

Pint 5: Have a breakfast.
Breakfast is way to give your body energy. Without breakfast, you can not focus and more vulnerable to stress. Bread and rice are good source of energy – carbohydrates, and fruits are excellent source of sugars.
