Is anyone else here a vegetarian? I'm not a crazy econaught, but I've always thought that if you don't have to eat meat to survive, then you shouldn't. That being said, when others do eat meat I don't hold it against them.

I don't think I could ever be a vegetarian. I don't really eat any vegetables as it is. Then again, I would choose a nice roasted potato over a steak anyday.

I wish I could be a vegetarian or even vegan person!
I really love animals but I also like to eat meats. Also, it's really difficult to change eating-style at my age and to find vegan foods which is good. I'm actually working at organic/natural grocery store, and I've tried vegan items. It's ok but .....

I saw animal rights section in this forum, I was so disgused by how we treat animals.
I do not know what to do anymore. Every time I eat, those pictures come back to me, you know Crying or Very sad

Definately tough to be vegetarian in todays day and age. I try to just eat what I can, and not kill something alive when I don't have to. I.e. fresh fish and such.

I had been a vegan till I got a condition where I got weak and pale. So the doctor advised me to take meat and egg.

In my opinion we should eat all vegetarian and no vegetarian foods to take a balanced diet and get all necessary foods elements such as all necessary vitamins, protein, fiber, carbs, fats, and nutrition etc.
If non veggies cause the weight gain for you then cut the use of those foods but don't go on veggies completely.
